If The World Could See Tomorrow

The sun'll come out
Tomorrow
Bet your bottom dollar
That tomorrow
There'll be sun!

Just thinkin' about
Tomorrow
Clears away the cobwebs,
And the sorrow
'Til there's none!

When I'm stuck with a day
That's gray,
And lonely,
I just stick out my chin
And Grin,
And Say,
Oh!

The sun'll come out
Tomorrow
So ya gotta hang on
'Til tomorrow
Come what may
Tomorrow! Tomorrow!
I love ya Tomorrow!
You're always
A day
A-way!

-- It would be a Blessing if this was the feeling throughout the world.

No problem hun. Like I said, I figured either you missed it or blogspot ate it. It happens neither computers nor people are infallible. And just to clarify, I wasn't being sarcastic anywhere in my comments. I mean it, I'm glad that your religion works for you. I just wish there was a little more room for tolerance of others beliefs and feelings there too.

That musical is about orphans. Poor, lonely, hungry, cold, abused, sad orphans.

Only in this musical, a rich oil tycoon saves them. Too bad that does not happen in real life.

Plan B prevents such heartbreak.

-- That is such a ridiculously ignorant statement that it deserves no response. You are lucky I decided to allow it posted.

Tatiana, I am tolerant of other religions. Only I do not bother trying to learn, understand or appreciate them. If I am to 'have not other God's before me', I can not delve into curiousty of another's god. But I will not sweep someone away for their beliefs. My like or dislike of a person is based on my personal interaction with that person.

I did not think you sarcastic in the least. No harm done.

-- I must be thankful then, in your current state of mind, that I am not Muslim. However, if I was Muslim, who would that 'comeone' be? Is there 'comeone' that you feel would be best suited to carry out you desires, and if so, would this 'comeone' know where to look?

Deception keep it to yourself.

There is NO reason for her to keep it to herself! None of the rest of you do it. When EVERYONE keeps shit to themselves, then and only then do you have the right to say something to her. In fact, she made a VERY GOOD point. Learn to be a bit more understanding of others!

Religious tolerance is not something easily come by. It is difficult for people to look past the trappings of Religion to see the Spirit Within. I truly dislike the word Religion. It means to me all the dogma and hypocrisy that can be found in humans. But the Spirit - I love the Spirit. When it soars, nothing and no one can stand in its way. It is beauty incarnate. The Spirit within each person has the potential to be ... everything. Christian or Pagan, Jewish or Buddhist, Taoist or whatever, it doesn't matter. Honesty. Love. Purpose. Those things are what matter. How you worship your God/dess or what you call him/her - what difference does that really make? Just stand up and take responsibility for yourself and your actions. Be Honest - with yourself first, then the rest of the world. Love - yourself and each other. Have a goal - Heaven, Summerland, Reincarnation - it doesn't matter. Just Believe in something.

Tolerance of others beliefs includes not attempting to impose your values/morals/beliefs on others. I do not proselytize for my beliefs, but I will stand up and defend them. I will stand up and defend your right to your beliefs. Or your right to not believe in anything at all. This is what it truly means to live in a free country. Tolerance and Respect for people who are different than you.

Sorry, I seem to jump up on my soapbox here too easily. It's just so difficult to stop trying to educate others on tolerance and differences. I mean do you realize how many different Christian religions there are in existence today?!? They don't all believe the same thing. Some hold more of the "old ways" than others. Some have supplemental books to the Bible. Speaking of the Bible - do you know how many versions are in print right now, today? Dozens. And each one is slightly different than the other. A word or two can change the meaning of an entire sentence, a paragraph, or even an entire book.

Tolerance isn't easy to do. But then again, nothing worthwhile is ever easy.

Titiana most people believe that their relgion is the only right one so that would mean the rest are wrong and or going to hell. I cannot see a loving God sending that many people to hell forever. What are your thoughts on this rasha and titiana? I think if you give your life to God and try to live right your on the right path

Speaking as a Christian... this might piss off some people... But I can't help it if the truth hurts...

Some ( a lot of ) Christians seem to confuse RELIGION with being Christian. Protestant, Catholic, Baptists, Lutheran, Episcopalian, Anglican, Orthodox, Greek Orthodox, Maronite... etc.. etc... etc... are all religions started by man...

Jesus didn't come to start a RELIGION... Jesus didn't start the Catholic Religion or ANY OTHER RELIGION. Jesus came that we might FOLLOW HIM.... This is CHRISTIANITY... To live, as close as possible to the WAYS OF CHRIST...

I was brought up Catholic... But now ONLY FOLLOW THE WORDS IN THE BIBLE... Priests, Decons, Preachers, Evangilists, Bishops, Popes...etc..etc..etc are only human... Women/Men just like anyone else... But the BIBLE IS NEVER WRONG... and if you think I'm wrong... Look at how many committ crimes.. Murders... Rapes... Pedophilia... Thefts... etc.. etc.. etc.... They're not SPECIAL... I'm not perfect by any means... but no ONE Christian "RELIGION" is right...

But as I always say.... NO ONE... NO ONE knows what the 100% actually truth is of any of this... We won't know until Jesus comes back... or when we die... when we'll find out whether our individual beliefs were correct or not... "For we live by FAITH..."

Rom. 1: 17
For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

Gal. 2: 20
I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

Tat... I believe you said you are Wiccan... right?

Do you like Loreena McKinnett?
If you ask who that is, I'll have my answer...LOL

Just kidding... She's an Irish Songstress, in the style of Enya... Celtic... Gorgeous voice... I believe she is Wiccan also....

If you haven't already... listen to the song, Mummer's Dance. It's on "The Book of Secrets" CD... I'll put it on my blog tonight when I get home... Should be there sometime around 7 pm.. NY TIME !!!

Nuke,

I believe that all paths lead to the same place eventually. It might take some longer than others (many lifetimes even), but they will all get there.

Doing,

I am a witch with Celtic Wiccan leanings - lol. What that means is that I primarily use Celtic deities in my rituals and generally follow Wiccan guidelines. Obviously, I can't follow them all because I am a solitary practitioner.

I use many of Loreena Mckinnett's songs in my ritual space. Music helps to set the mood so to speak. I find it easier to meditate with soft music playing in the background (helps to hide the sound of the children running around downstairs! lol).

As for the Bible/Christianity statement: Which bible do you follow? King James? The New King James? The 21st Century King James? The American Standard? Contemporary English? The New American Standard? The New International? I could go on...As I said before, the bible was originally written by men, men as corruptible as the priests of today. They were/are after all only human. And just how many times has it been translated? Aramaic to Greek to Hebrew to English (Olde English, no less) Each one putting their own "spin" on things. Each translator changing some word or phrase because of dialect differences or translation difficulties. You are bilingual; you know there are things you can say in Spanish that can't be said in English. They lose something in the translation. Do you really think it was any different back then?

As I said before, the bible has some good guidelines. It has good stories to use to teach lessons. But I don't believe every word of it actually occurred. I do not believe every word of it is "The Word of God" It is a book written by men – probably (hopefully)inspired by God.
